Recently, Prigo described the so-called Christmas tree toy. His main Intention was to explain an unusual wobbling of the tree sections superposing their rotation. In contrast to Prigo we could not observe this oscillatory behaviour. Instead, we found it more surprising that the opening und closing of the four shell sections do not arise continuously with increasing rotation rate, but arise rather abruptly.
